Title: Time-Frequency Localization with Wavelet Frames

Abstract: For my research, I am starting to experiment with the ability to build "ideal" wavelet systems with respect to their time-frequency localization properties. To this end, I have constructed tight frame systems from cardinal interpolants by application of the Unitary Extension Principle, and have added a band construction step to the Fast Frame Transform. I am currently applying my systems to structed signals in one dimension.
